A Career Guidance Meeting Was Held at the Astrakhan State University

Employees of SEZ Lotus JSC took part in a career guidance meeting with students of the Faculty of International Relations at the Astrakhan State University named after V. N. Tatishchev. During the event, the attendees were presented with information about the Management Company of the Caspian Cluster of Special Economic Zones, as well as prospects for cooperation with enterprises of the tenants of the special economic zones in the Astrakhan Region.

For example, Rosa LLC, which is building the first household chemicals plant in Russia of the large Iranian holding Golrang on the territory of SEZ Lotus, often cooperates with the university graduates — Persian language interpreters assist in conducting business meetings and negotiations, and in adapting documentation.

– We constantly cooperate with educational institutions; for example, students of the Astrakhan State University undergo internships at our Management Company – they learn to interact with business representatives. Last year, one of our tenants used Chinese translation services. We also organize tours of enterprises. All of this helps graduates better understand the specifics of the profession, choose the field they find more interesting to work in, and helps us develop a workforce base for our tenants, – said Irina Bocharnikova, Head of the Investor’s Division of SEZ Lotus JSC.

At the end of the meeting, students expressed interest in the Management Company and asked follow-up questions. It is worth noting that some employees at SEZ Lotus JSC are graduates of the Astrakhan State University named after V. N. Tatishchev.
