A Plant for the Production of Industrial Water Treatment Stations for Technical and Drinking Water Supply to Be Built in SEZ Lotus

As part of the XXVIII St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Government of the Astrakhan Region, Special Economic Zone Lotus JSC, and AQUALIDER LLC signed an agreement on the implementation of an investment project for the production of industrial water treatment systems for technical and drinking water supply. In SEZ Lotus, AQUALIDER LLC plans to manufacture filtration and post-treatment stations for water from main pipelines to remove secondary contaminants, as well as universal water treatment stations for out-of-town and industrial facilities. The filtration and post-treatment stations will have a capacity ranging from 1.5 to 200 m3 per hour, while the universal water treatment stations will start at 100 m3 per day.

The enterprise will utilize a unique filtration system based on deposited filter elements with a variable mesh size. This allows the water to be effectively purified and made safe for consumption. The technology helps reduce the volume of backwash water (the liquid used for filter cleaning) to as low as 0.5% and enables operation across a wide range of contamination levels without replaceable filters. The uniqueness of the future plant’s products has been confirmed by the Patent Office of the Eurasian Patent Organization (EAPO). The total investment in the project will amount to 188 million rubles.
