A Tenant of SEZ Lotus Explored Astrakhan Facilities of a Major Russian Logistics Operator
Representatives of the Iranian holding company Golrang and Rosa LLC visited a distribution center of the Magnit retail chain in the Astrakhan Region. The visit became part of preparations for the launch of a new household chemicals plant in Special Economic Zone Lotus, scheduled for 2027.
The familiarization visit was Alireza Sobhani, General Director of Rosa LLC, Kamal Afshari, Director of the plant, and Andrey Nalimov, Deputy Director General of SEZ Lotus JSC. The guests observed the facilities of the center, including refrigeration chambers, ambient storage warehouses, workshops for recyclable materials processing, as well as control and technical stations.
Alexey Dyusenov, Deputy Director of the Magnit distribution center, guided the delegation through the facility and spoke about the modern solutions and technologies used in the company’s logistics operations.
“The experience of our Russian colleagues in developing logistics chains, improving the efficiency of warehouse processes, and implementing modern storage and transportation systems is both interesting and important for us. It will allow us to efficiently implement our project in the Astrakhan Region,” noted Esmail Sobhani, General Director of Rosa LLC. He also invited Magnit employees to visit the unique plant of Rosa LLC after the construction is completed in order to personally explore the production process and the products.
At present, Rosa LLC has completed the construction of the production workshop and the finished goods warehouse. The installation of technological equipment and the development of utility networks are currently underway. The plant already employs 45 people, and more than 70 new jobs are planned to be created by the launch of the production. The company plans to produce over 9 million liters of products annually by 2028. The tenant of SEZ Lotus intends to supply its products throughout Russia.
It should be recalled that Rosa LLC is implementing a project for the construction of a household chemicals plant on the territory of Special Economic Zone Lotus in the Narimanovsky District. The investor is the largest private Iranian holding company Golrang Industrial Group, which already operates enterprises in several countries. In Russia, the Astrakhan plant will become the company’s first facility and will manufacture shampoos, shower gels, detergents, and other products.
