Alexander Kim Elected as Chairman of the Council of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Astrakhan Region

The first meeting of the Council of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Astrakhan Region in its new composition was held recently under the chairmanship of Victoria Klykanova, President of the Chamber.

The key decision of the meeting was the election of Alexander Kim, Director General of SEZ Lotus JSC, as Chairman of the Council of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The Council's Rules of Procedure, which regulate the work of the body for the next five years, were also unanimously adopted.

“Our top priority is to create a comfortable environment for investors and help Astrakhan enterprises expand the geographic reach of their product supplies. The experience of developing special economic zones has shown that potential tenants place equal importance on both incentives and sales markets. Only through the direct involvement of heads of companies in the real sector of the economy will we be able to develop effective mechanisms to support and develop the Astrakhan business,” Alexander Kim commented.

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Astrakhan Region serves as a link between the regional government and the business community, ensuring that the interests of the real sector of the economy are taken into account in the development of the regional regulatory framework. Established by the Astrakhan business circles on April 30, 1992, the Astrakhan Chamber of Commerce and Industry is part of the system of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.
