On March 27, the administration of the Mogilev Free Economic Zone (Republic of Belarus) held a roundtable discussion titled “Innovative Technologies for Improving Labor Productivity”. The event which was also held online brought together representatives of the SEZ tenant companies from both countries, including the Astrakhan Region and the Leningrad Region. Andrey Nalimov, Deputy Director General of the Management Company of the Caspian Cluster, delivered the welcoming address.

The participants of the meeting discussed personnel and reputational issues that arise when working with hired employees, and shared their experience in addressing various HR marketing challenges: how to attract job seekers, make their working conditions as comfortable as possible, and choose a development strategy within the company — thereby enhancing the company’s image.

The recently launched Rybniye Korma fish feed plant in the Astrakhan Region has become an example of an enterprise that takes a serious approach to team building and providing workplaces that meet all modern requirements. The enterprise has been operating for just over a year but has already managed to strengthen its position in the aquaculture feed industry – the plant is now among the key producers in this sector.

It is worth noting that the company pays special attention to the professional training of its staff. Thanks to its corporate programs, Rybniye Korma LLC fosters employee development and enhances the skills of the entire team – training seminars are held on its site, and the staff participates in various conferences and forums. The enterprise makes investments in a range of research and development activities.

 – The issue of professional staff training is not new for our region. It is great when a company is ready not only to provide a high-quality workplace but also to train employees to work with modern equipment, ensure comfortable development within the company. As the Management Company of the Caspian Cluster of SEZs, we are interested in the creation of new jobs and strive to contribute to this. We fully support workforce education programs. For example, the Narimanov branch of the Astrakhan State College of Professional Technologies trains specialists for Lotos Shipyard and the geosynthetics plant Gexa-Lotos, while universities prepare specialists for Rybniye Korma LLC, – said Andrey Nalimov, Deputy Director General of SEZ Lotus JSC.
