The largest shipbuilding plant in the Astrakhan Region and the Southern Federal District of the Russian Federation. It has a skilled staff and various technical capabilities, and is incorporated in the Southern Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Center (JSC United Shipbuilding Corporation).

Company Specialization:

Civil shipbuilding: construction of dry cargo carriers and oil tankers for sea, river and mixed river-sea navigation areas, auxiliary ships for various purposes, utility vessels (tugboats, supply vessels etc.), passenger cruise ships;

Offshore shipbuilding: construction of topsides for fixed offshore platforms manufactured in modules, shallow-draft offshore platforms, support blocks of fixed ice-resistant platforms, and various steelworks;

Ship repair. The capacity of the plant allows to slip vessels of various classes (up to 6 000 tons and 140 meters in length) and perform all types of repairs. The plant experts have a unique experience in repair works.

Project:

Modernization and reconstruction of the existing shipyard to increase industrial capacity, improve the quality of products, and concentrate manufacturers of related industries at Special Economic Zone LOTUS.

Status:

A new metal center (the metal shot blasting and passivation line “ROSLER”, with a capacity of up to 52 000 tons per year, as well as the line for thermal cutting of rolled metal products RUM-4500) has been put into operation, allowing to increase the projected capacity of the plant from 18 000 to 35 000 tons per year for metal processed by thermal cutting machines and from 12 000 to 52 000 tons per year for metal processed in the shot blasting and prepainting line.
